An emergency response unfolded right near the Governor Mario M. Cuomo Bridge after an individual fell roughly 30 feet down a steep embankment along Interstate 87 Northbound. Fire Department crews worked alongside the MTA Police ESU, NY State Police, and EMS to execute a low-angle rope rescue. The patient was safely brought up in a Stokes basket and transported to a local hospital.
