EWR: Terminal A is getting another expansion, with construction set to begin soon and opening planned for 2029. The $110M project will add 8 new gates — 6 on the north side and 2 on the south — plus 25,000 sq. ft. of new space. The expansion will include new dining, restrooms, seating, workstations, children’s play areas and other passenger amenities. The project is part of the Port Authority’s massive EWR Vision Plan, which also includes upgrades to Terminals B & C and a new $3.5B AirTrain.
