IRANIAN DELEGATION ARRIVES IN NEW YORK Iran’s official delegation arrived in New York for the UN General Assembly aboard 34-year-old Airbus A340 EP-IGI. The aircraft departed Tehran (THR), made a technical stop in Algiers, and then continued across the Atlantic to JFK. After the delegation left the aircraft, the A340 did not stay at JFK. Due to the heavy traffic and congestion from numerous government aircraft in the area, EP-IGI repositioned to Baltimore/Washington (BWI), where it is expected to remain during the UN General Assembly.
