UNITED’S STARS & STRIPES 787 LANDS IN TEL AVIV Here is footage of United’s special Stars & Stripes Boeing 787-10 landing yesterday afternoon at Ben Gurion Airport. As we reported earlier, the aircraft was originally assigned to UA84 on September 8, but after returning from Los Angeles, it was held in maintenance for more than 2½ hours due to a seat issue. United then assigned it to the second Newark–Tel Aviv flight, UA90, which landed yesterday afternoon. United currently operates 2 daily Newark–Tel Aviv flights, increasing to a record 3 daily on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays starting November 2, 2026. United is also scheduled to resume Chicago–Tel Aviv (4 weekly, Oct. 24), Washington D.C.–Tel Aviv (3 weekly, Oct. 25), and San Francisco–Tel Aviv (3 weekly, March 28, 2027). The special aircraft features United’s Stars & Stripes livery celebrating America’s 250th anniversary.
