Seven members of one family are suing Delta and Japan Airlines over a 2025 collision at Seattle-Tacoma Airport. A JAL Boeing 787 struck the tail of a stationary Delta 737-800 at just 2.3 mph. No injuries were reported among the 335 passengers and crew at the time. The family now alleges they suffered injuries from the impact, with one passenger claiming serious lower-back and leg problems. The NTSB determined that the JAL crew failed to maintain adequate clearance from the Delta aircraft.
