DELTA PASSENGER SUES OVER SEATING INCIDENT A Delta passenger is suing the airline, claiming he was forced against the cabin wall for more than five hours on a flight from Atlanta to Seattle after his seatmate allegedly encroached into his space. He says he suffered severe back and leg pain after the flight and eventually required spinal surgery. The lawsuit claims Delta failed to provide a safe, usable seat and did not properly enforce its policy requiring passengers who cannot fit in one seat to purchase an additional seat.
