✈️ Fourth Near Miss at Sydney Airport in Weeks Two Qantas aircraft were directed toward the same taxiway intersection at Sydney Airport, prompting another ATSB investigation. No collision, injuries, or damage occurred, but the incident marks the fourth close call at Sydney in less than a month. The latest incident involved a Qantas A321 bound for the Gold Coast and a Qantas 737-800 arriving from Melbourne. Both were cleared toward the same intersection. The ATSB is investigating possible contributing factors, including air traffic controller workload, staffing concerns and new complex airspace procedures introduced in July. Preliminary findings are expected within eight weeks. Runway 972: Boarding Pass to the Hottest Aviation Buzz ⤵️ https://chat.whatsapp.com/HT94R0fqoR617VUsxr3rwX?mode=h1qrt
