13 Injured In Employee Shuttle Bus Crash At Newark Airport An employee shuttle bus crashed into a concrete wall at Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) early Monday morning, injuring 13 people. Three suffered serious injuries and 10 had minor injuries; none were considered life-threatening. The crash temporarily closed the Terminal B Departures Level 3 roadway, with departing passengers redirected to Level 2. The roadway later reopened and only minor flight delays were reported. Important for EL AL passengers: EL AL operates its Newark flights from Terminal B, so passengers traveling on EL AL should expect possible traffic congestion and allow extra time when arriving at the terminal, even though flight operations were not significantly affected.
