🇮🇱🇯🇵 ARKIA’S TOKYO FLIGHTS HIT A ROADBLOCK Arkia has not received the required Japanese approvals to operate its planned nonstop Tel Aviv–Tokyo route using wet-leased aircraft, despite selling thousands of tickets. The new route was scheduled to launch on October 25, 2026. Affected passengers are being offered alternatives via Bangkok or Hanoi, a different destination with a 10% discount, or a full refund. Arkia is still seeking approval to operate the route with its own aircraft and hopes to launch the service in the coming weeks.
