Electra’s hybrid-electric EL2 aircraft has landed at Manhattan’s Downtown Skyport heliport in a notable aviation first. The fixed-wing aircraft demonstrated ultra-short takeoff and landing (STOL) capabilities, operating without vertical takeoff technology. Electra says the aircraft can take off and land in as little as 150 feet, potentially allowing operations from heliports and small sites. The demonstration supports development of the larger nine-passenger EL9, designed to connect cities using smaller aviation facilities. ✈️ Runway 972: Boarding Pass to the Hottest Aviation Buzz 🌎 📲 Join our WhatsApp Group https://chat.whatsapp.com/KIYXshnXiIkCjS3aGM8ADA?mode=gi_t 📢 Follow our WhatsApp Channel https://whatsapp.com/channel/0029VbDqaS22UPBGblylOr3y
