Haifa Airport is seeing strong growth in passenger numbers and flight activity, expanding travel options for northern Israel. A new parking lot with around 900 spaces is being built on 20 dunams north of the terminal. The current runway can accommodate aircraft up to the ATR 72-600, while improved options are being examined to potentially support larger aircraft in the future.
