Four Philippine Air Force pilots were killed Friday, October 23, when two SF-260 trainer aircraft collided midair during a training flight at Fernando Air Base in Lipa City, south of Manila. Both aircraft crashed inside the base perimeter at approximately 3:51 p.m. local time, with no other casualties reported. The Philippine Air Force has temporarily grounded its entire SF-260 fleet while an investigation into the cause gets underway. The tragedy follows a similar fatal training accident in May that killed two Philippine Air Force pilots. ✈️ Runway 972: Boarding Pass to the Hottest Aviation Buzz 🌎 📲 Join our WhatsApp Group https://chat.whatsapp.com/KIYXshnXiIkCjS3aGM8ADA?mode=gi_t 📢 Follow our WhatsApp Channel https://whatsapp.com/channel/0029VbDqaS22UPBGblylOr3y
