UPDATE:
Around 90 flights accumulated within just 3 hours at Ben Gurion Airport today, with approximately 90,000 passengers expected to pass through the airport.
The Israel Airports Authority says there is no staff shortage. The delays are being attributed to heavy summer traffic, restrictions in European airspace — particularly Greece — and the presence of U.S. aerial refueling aircraft, which reduces available departure and arrival windows.
