American Express is expanding its upcoming Centurion Lounge at Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) to more than 30,000 square feet across two floors, up from the originally planned 18,000 square feet. The expansion will make it the largest Centurion Lounge in the network, featuring premium dining, three bar experiences and a coffee and wellness bar. The lounge in Terminal A is expected to open in 2027. With this addition, Amex will have Centurion Lounges at all three major New York City-area airports: Newark (EWR), JFK and LaGuardia (LGA).
