*SHOCKING: 3 OUT OF 4 EUROPEAN PILOTS REPORT FALLING ASLEEP IN THE COCKPIT!* A new survey of nearly 7,200 pilots found that 76.8% experienced at least one involuntary “microsleep” while flying in the previous four weeks. One in four reported five or more episodes, while 7% reported at least 10. Nearly 39% said they regularly lacked sufficient rest, and 24% admitted they continued flying despite being too fatigued. Some pilots also fear punishment for reporting exhaustion. The European Cockpit Association warns that pilot fatigue remains a serious aviation safety concern, with little improvement since its 2023 survey. ✈️ Runway 972: Boarding Pass to the Hottest Aviation Buzz 🌎 📲 Join our WhatsApp Group https://chat.whatsapp.com/KIYXshnXiIkCjS3aGM8ADA?mode=gi_t 📢 Follow our WhatsApp Channel https://whatsapp.com/channel/0029VbDqaS22UPBGblylOr3y
