Attorney General Todd Blanche tells CBS News Ed Okeefe that the Justice Department will "of course" comply with the Supreme Court’s ruling blocking the Trump administration’s new mail-ballot standards for the 2026 election. But he adds that DOJ will continue its efforts to ensure what he called "free and fair elections." Blanche also defended President Trump’s criticism of the three Supreme Court justices he appointed, saying Trump has "every right" to publicly express his frustration and that the president has also been appreciative of the court when he agrees with its decisions.
