The police officer faces three charges: breach of official duties, grossly endangering road traffic safety, and unintentionally causing injuries. Finns are deeply divided. Many believe the teenager provoked the dangerous situation himself by fleeing, but at the same time, the way the police officer ended the chase was disproportionate.
