Two Royal Air Force pilots have been injured after a training aircraft crashed in north Wales on Wednesday morning. The Hawk T2 jet encountered an issue shortly after take-off from RAF Valley, the flight school near Holyhead in Anglesey, forcing the crew members to eject. Images and videos taken near the scene showed a fire burning in a field and large plumes of black smoke. Other footage showed the two pilots mid-air with their parachutes deployed.
