A Flydubai flight from Dubai to Tel Aviv was diverted to Saudi Arabia after an incident involving the pilots sent the aircraft into a rapid descent and triggered emergency signals. The plane landed safely in Saudi Arabia and all passengers were accounted for, according to the airline. Yasmin Abukasis, whose daughter was on the flight, relayed what she says her daughter told her about the frightening moments onboard. Israeli officials have said they are investigating whether the incident could have been an attempted terror attack. Flydubai has so far described it only as an “incident” and has not publicly detailed what happened between the pilots.
