New Poll Shows Gives Governor Sherrill A 55% Approval Rating As New Jersey Governor Mikie Sherrill wraps up her first six months in office, a new poll released today gives her decent approval ratings, while U.S. Senator Cory Booker and Andy Kim also hold positive ratings among New Jersey voters. The Morning Consult poll shows 55% of New Jersey registered voters approve of Sherrill’s job performance, compared with 30% who disapprove. Another 15% said they did not know or did not have an opinion. Her net approval rating is plus 25 percentage points. Booker, a Democrat who is running for reelection to the Senate this year and is also strongly considering running for president in 2028, also has a favorable standing among voters. Fifty-three percent approve of his job performance, while 33% disapprove, giving him a net approval rating of plus 19 points. His net rating is up 3 points from the previous quarter.
