Tu B’Av and the Shidduch Crisis: Let’s Turn Ideas Into Action This Wednesday is Tu B’Av, a day that Chazal associate with simcha, hope, and Shidduchim. It is a time when many daven with renewed emotion for those waiting to find their zivug. Over the years, countless initiatives have been launched in an effort to address the shidduch crisis. Many have been reported about here on TLS. Organizations have been established, awareness campaigns have been run, meetings have been held, and many thoughtful suggestions have been proposed. Yet despite all of these efforts, the painful reality remains that there are still thousands of young women in the Lakewood area and beyond who are waiting, hoping, and davening for their shidduch. Behind every name is a family carrying quiet heartache. Parents continue to make phone calls. Friends wonder how they can help. Singles keep their faith while waiting for the right person to come along. READ MORE ⤵️ Click here to join the official TLS Community:
