Andy Burnham says he will take “Manchesterism” to the whole country as he prepares to enter Downing Street. In an open letter to Greater Manchester residents, he thanked them for their support during his decade as Mayor, highlighted achievements including the Bee Network, A Bed Every Night and greater devolution, backed Bev Craig as his successor, and pledged to create a “Number 10 North” to bring more power out of Westminster.
