A major NHS trust which runs Salford Royal, the Royal Oldham, Fairfield General and Rochdale Infirmary, in Greater Manchester has been accused of “failing to do the right thing” as more than 350 staff strike over overtime payments. Workers including nurses, clinical support staff and housekeepers walked out at four Northern Care Alliance hospitals today.
