More than 10,000 items of mail believed to have been stolen were recovered from the home of a Royal Mail worker in Bury.GMP found the items while searching the property after an arrest linked to a separate offence. The worker, who had been employed by Royal Mail for several years, is no longer with the company. The recovered mail has been handed back to Royal Mail and sorted at its Bury delivery office.
