Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband is accused by ministers of blocking investment in artificial intelligence (AI) in Britain, amid a Cabinet split over net zero. Senior government sources say he opposes plans to give Whitehall more control of the grid so data centres can be prioritised, because of their huge electricity demand.
