*🇳🇵-Flash Floods Hit China-Nepal Border, 380+ Missing* A sudden wall of mud and water tore through the Himalayan border region between Nepal and China’s Tibet on Wednesday morning. At least nine people have been confirmed dead so far. The toll is expected to rise. Nepal’s tourism board says 384 travellers are missing from the affected area. That includes 291 foreign nationals and 93 Nepalis. Among them are more than 100 Indians, 12 British citizens, and three Americans. Villages along the river were swept away. Roads, bridges, and power projects have been heavily damaged. Chinese authorities report major casualties at the Gyirong border port. Rescue teams are working on both sides of the border. An earthquake may have triggered a rock-ice avalanche that caused the flooding. More updates as they come in.
