*🇺🇸-FBI Foils Alleged ISIS Plot Targeting New York State Capitol In Albany* The FBI says it stopped an alleged terror plot aimed at the New York State Capitol after a 35-year-old Albany woman bought bomb-making materials and pledged allegiance to ISIS. Jessica Bowie was arrested Wednesday after taking possession of what she believed was an explosive device. Authorities say she planned to target the Capitol and kill state senators, then flee. Investigators say Bowie used $200 provided by undercover agents to purchase items including nails at a Rensselaer Home Depot. She also allegedly discussed using a DoorDash bag to carry the device and conducted surveillance of the Capitol grounds multiple times. Bowie faces a federal charge of attempting to provide material support to a designated foreign terrorist organization. She made her initial court appearance Thursday.
