*🇺🇸 - 22 people have been arrested after the chaos of anti-Islamic protesters and counter-protesters collided in Michigan* Jake Lang, a self-described anti-Islamic activist, held a "Christian Crusader March" in Dearborn. Dearborn has become predominantly Muslim, with about half of its residents belonging to that religion. The Dearborn Police Department was assisted by the Michigan State Police, the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, its mounted unit, Detroit police, and the Western Wayne Mobile Field Force. Police issued a warning prior to the event, saying they would enforce the law regardless of a person's views or affiliations. Lang organized the “crusade” with plans to walk to the Henry Ford Centennial Library, where he planned to host a “pig roast.” The “pig roast” did not take place after the chaos of the protestors and counterprotesters unfolded.
