*🇺🇸-Collins Says She And Trump Have “Very Different Styles”* Sen. Susan Collins sat down with Politico’s Jonathan Martin at a lobster shack in Surry and declined to say directly whether President Trump is fit for office. “The president and I have very different styles,” Collins said. She criticized Trump for often failing to consult Congress before major decisions, pointing to Canadian tariffs that hit border states like Maine. She also said some of his actions have been “unwise.” Collins said her preferred 2024 candidate was Nikki Haley. She added that she works with whoever is president and has never agreed with any of the five presidents she has served with on every issue. The interview comes as Collins seeks another term against Democrat Troy Jackson.
