*🇺🇸-Yankees Fan Sues For $10 Million After Bat Flies Into Stands* A 37-year-old healthcare executive is suing the New York Yankees for $10 million after a baseball bat flew into the stands and hit her in the head. Stephanie Duluc was sitting in fourth-row seats behind home plate at Yankee Stadium during the June 2 game against the Cleveland Guardians. Cleveland’s Jose Ramirez lost control of his bat on a swing. It cleared the protective netting and struck her with enough force to knock her out of her seat and onto the ground. Duluc says she suffered a traumatic brain injury, concussion, severe light sensitivity, and permanent damage to her neck and hands. She claims she has been unable to return to her job as chief of staff at a Bronx-based healthcare network. Her lawsuit argues the netting in that section was significantly lower than nearby areas, leaving an unprotected opening. The Yankees have declined to comment.
