Tiger Woods Loses License For 5 Years After Jupiter Island Crash Plea Tiger Woods entered a no-contest plea Wednesday in Martin County Court after the March rollover crash near his Jupiter Island home. The original DUI charge was reduced to reckless driving, a second offense. He also resolved the charge for refusing a lawful test. Judge Darren Steele suspended his driver’s license for five years and imposed $1,500 in fines. The suspensions run at the same time. Steele was blunt. If Woods is caught driving at all during those five years, he goes straight to jail. No exceptions. The crash happened March 27 on a residential Jupiter Island road. Woods’ SUV clipped a pickup truck hauling a trailer and rolled onto its side. No one was injured. He initially pleaded not guilty. He arrived at the Stuart courthouse Wednesday morning with Vanessa Trump and left without speaking to reporters.
