*🇮🇱-Israel Begins Eviction Of UNRWA From Kafr Aqab* Israeli police, backed by the IDF and Jerusalem authorities, have started evacuating the UNRWA compound in Kafr Aqab, north of Jerusalem. The move enforces legislation restricting the agency’s activities in the area. National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir stated that “sovereignty is not declared, it is acted upon,” citing UNRWA’s links to Hamas. Israel’s Foreign Ministry says the site will be turned into a community and educational center. ₪40 million has been allocated for schools, sports facilities, and a mosque.
