*🇺🇸-Unlicensed Driver Kills Infant in New Jersey Grocery Store Parking Lot* A nine month old baby boy died Friday after an unlicensed driver struck his mother and sister in a supermarket parking lot in Jackson Township, New Jersey. The crash occurred shortly before noon in the lot of NPGS, a kosher grocery store on West County Line Road. Maria Cobon Guzman, 20, of Trenton, was behind the wheel of a Ford Fusion when the vehicle hit Golda Chana Rosenberg as she pushed a stroller carrying her children. The infant, Yitzchok Rosenberg, was pronounced dead at Jersey Shore University Medical Center. His mother and five year old sister Rochel remain hospitalized in stable condition. Prosecutors said CobonGuzman had never been issued a valid driver’s license in New Jersey or any other state. Ariadna Lazaro-Flores, 22, of Toms River, knew that fact and still permitted her to drive, according to Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley Billhimer. CobonGuzman faces charges of manslaughter, operating a motor vehicle without ever having possessed a valid license in a fatal crash, and two counts of assault by auto. Lazaro-Flores is charged with knowingly creating a substantial risk of death to another. Both women are being held at the Ocean County Jail pending detention hearings. The investigation continues.
