*🇮🇱-Tel Aviv University Develops $60 Blood Test For Early Lung Cancer Detection* Researchers at Tel Aviv University have created a simple blood test that uses light to spot lung cancer’s chemical fingerprint. The test costs about $60 and does not require expensive DNA sequencing. Early results showed it correctly identified patients with stage 2-4 disease at over 90 percent accuracy. Prof. Yuval Ebenstein and his team say the method could eventually catch cancer earlier than imaging or symptoms, and help track how patients respond to treatment. Clinical trials are already underway in Israel and Europe.
