*🇺🇸-NY Assemblyman Ari Brown: We Don’t Plead With Radical Islamists* NY Assemblyman Ari Brown is pushing back hard on the idea that rabbis should be “pleading” with Zohran Mamdani. His message is blunt: the problem isn’t that rabbis met with him. It’s the word “pleading.” “You don’t plead with radical Islamists. They understand strength, not weakness,” Brown said. He pointed to a 1967 story involving Frank Sinatra and Sands executive Carl Cohen. After Cohen, who was Jewish, knocked Sinatra’s front teeth out, Sinatra later joked, “Never fight a Jew in the desert.” That was right around Israel’s Six-Day War victory. Brown’s take: that’s the message Americans, and especially Jews, have forgotten. “We don’t plead. We stand strong. And we never bow, especially to that ‘never worked a day in his life’ clown.”
