Yaker Biegeleisen — text status

While the moon passes in front of planets somewhere on Earth fairly regularly, getting a chance to see a Jupiter occultation from a specific location—especially during nighttime or predawn dark skies—is pretty rare. On average, a visible occultation of Jupiter happens for any single location only about once every 13 years.
