A security source says Israel views the latest escalation as a “golden opportunity” to show Saudi Arabia who its real allies are, as Israel continues assisting the Saudis during the ongoing fighting with the Houthis, i24NEWS reports. “You asked for assistance, and Israel knew how to help. Know who your friends are,” the source said, arguing that Erdogan’s defense pact has proven worthless. According to the source, the Saudis are now reassessing their course, potentially reopening the path toward expanding the Abraham Accords.
