U.S. Central Command has tightened its targeting procedures and expanded its use of AI following the Feb. 28 strike on a school in Minab, Iran, where more than 120 children were reportedly killed, according to Bloomberg. The U.S. has not officially acknowledged responsibility for the strike. The changes include stricter target reviews and upgrades to Palantir’s Maven system designed to recheck intelligence, flag inconsistencies and better distinguish civilian from military sites.
