Amazon is raising about $5.8 billion in its first-ever bond sale denominated in British pounds, as the tech giant looks to expand its sources of funding amid massive spending on artificial intelligence, Reuters reports.
Investor demand topped £12 billion for the £4.25 billion offering, which includes bonds ranging from three to 19 years. Major technology companies have already issued more than $200 billion in debt this year, more than double the amount issued during all of 2025.
