British counterterrorism police arrested a 22-year-old man in London Tuesday in connection with the suspected terror plot targeting RAF Fairford, bringing the number of arrests in the investigation to seven. The air base had been hosting U.S. bombers before they were relocated due to security threats, Reuters reports. President Trump confirmed that “threats” prompted the decision to move the bombers, amid intelligence that Iran was potentially planning a drone attack targeting U.S. aircraft and personnel at the base. The six suspects previously arrested in the investigation have been released on police bail and remain under investigation.
