Multiple American military aircraft were damaged in overnight Iranian strikes on Muwaffaq Salti Air Base in Jordan. One A-10 Thunderbolt was hit and left with a missing wing, while roughly eight F-15s sustained light damage and were returned to service, CBS News reports. U.S. forces in Jordan launched more than 30 Patriot missiles defending against the Iranian strikes. The attack came after the U.S. struck five Iranian tankers in retaliation for Iran targeting a U.S. Navy warship.
