*SLOWER NYC:* Mayor Zohran Mamdani is pushing a massive expansion of 15 MPH speed limits near NYC schools as part of his new “Vision Zero Reimagined” plan. More than 200 school locations already have 15 MPH zones, roughly 800 are expected by the end of 2026, and City Hall’s ultimate goal is to bring the ultra-slow limit to every eligible school location — potentially thousands across the five boroughs.
