The United States and Uzbekistan signed 54 agreements worth approximately $12 billion during Secretary of State Marco Rubio’s visit to Samarkand, covering critical minerals, energy, transportation, finance and technology. Uzbekistan also became the 77th country to join NASA’s Artemis Accords, an international agreement on peaceful space exploration.
