🇮🇱 — REPORT: Knesset Set to Approve $4.9B IDF Rearmament Before Election - The Knesset Finance Committee is expected Wednesday to approve about 15 billion shekels ($4.9 billion) for IDF rearmament and reservists, less than five weeks before the election. - The government cleared the transfer two months ago; it has been stuck in the Knesset since August 2 and needs a coalition–opposition deal in the pre-election period. A separate IDF request of about $8.3 billion remains stalled in a Netanyahu–Lapid fight over how to pay for it.
