Hezbollah announced Tuesday that it would distribute up to $14,000 to Lebanese families whose primary homes were destroyed or rendered uninhabitable during fighting with Israel. Families in Beirut and its southern suburbs would receive up to $14,000, while eligible families elsewhere in Lebanon would receive $12,000. Reuters reports.
The assistance will be distributed in four installments over one year, with eligibility determined through damage assessments. The announcement follows reports that Hezbollah received approximately $200 million from Iran to assist displaced families.
