Authorities believe they have identified the source of a powerful gas-like smell that spread across Rishon LeZion over the past two days, triggering hundreds of complaints from residents. Emergency crews discovered fuel and oil waste dumped into a sewer in the western part of the city. Several residents reported breathing difficulties and nausea, with two women requiring hospital treatment. Authorities are investigating who dumped the waste.
