Israeli security forces announced that they foiled a major terrorist network involving more than 30 terrorists from Yerushalayim and Judea and Samaria who were planning attacks against Jews and security forces. The network was established by two Hamas terrorists who recruited and directed armed terrorist cells across Judea and Samaria. Weapons intended for the attacks were seized during the investigation. Among the planned targets were a restaurant in Modi’in, where one of the cell leaders worked, and Israeli security forces in the village of Azariya near Yerushalayim.
