The United States and Israel announced $7.4 million in funding for seven joint technology research projects involving medical technology, artificial intelligence, and advanced manufacturing.
The projects include technology for earlier cancer detection, 3D-printed orthopedic tools, and AI-based seed sorting. The Israel-U.S. BIRD Foundation said additional private investment could bring the projects' combined value to approximately $20 million.
