Turkish authorities seized an Iranian Caspian Airlines passenger plane at Istanbul Airport as it was preparing to depart for Iran with passengers onboard, following a court order tied to approximately €3 million in unpaid debt.
The Boeing 737-500 was grounded after lawyers representing Turkish aviation services company ACM Temsil Gozetim arrived at the airport with enforcement officers to carry out the seizure.
