Four Beit Safafa residents in Yerushalayim were convicted Wednesday of security offenses involving missions for an operative acting on behalf of Iran. The Iranian-linked operation included plans to establish a terrorist cell, assassinate a nuclear scientist and members of his family, obtain weapons and grenades, and stage footage of attacks. Two defendants also traveled to the Weizmann Institute in Rehovot as part of the operation.
